Boys 2 Men

Boys 2 Men is a program ran to build self- esteem and self -discipline. West Tennessee Empowerment Center is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of individuals to build a stronger world.

This program will teach boys how to dress for success, life lessons, just how to treat others.  We want to work with ages 6-18 years old because if you catch them at a young age you can teach them good habits.

“Have you ever seen anyone fighting in a tuxedo, selling drugs in a suit, or sagging?"

Our motto is "Look good, feel good, do good.

Dress in their Sunday's best.  It makes a person feel good when someone walk up to them and say, 'Oh, you look so nice and handsome,' that’s what we want our young men to feel.  When you feel good about yourself you will do good to others.

We will keep a stash of donated jackets, vests and ties at school for kids who don't have their own.

"A lot of our youth perform well when they know someone cares about them,"

A few things we will discuss are:

We will discuss a new topic like how to shake hands, make eye contact, open doors and address their elders.

This is a program designed to build self- esteem and self -discipline. West Tennessee Empowerment Center is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of individuals to build a stronger world.

The "Daughters of Destiny" is a space for girls ages 6 -12 and 13-18 to be able to express feelings and opinions, ask questions, share stories or experiences, learn, challenge themselves, and discuss issues or concerns about growing up as a female in an interactive, fun and creative environment.

The girls involved in this program will help with the development of the programming; that will consist of safe and respectful critical discussions, games, and activities.

Here are some types of workshops or activities that we have done:

  • Play games (ex. Team Building)

  • Paint (ex. Expression of Art)
